OUR STORY

Cameron and I had spent the last several weeks neglecting our homework and, instead, sending out ten thousand emails to musicians all over Texas. We wanted a gig. We'd never done a video like this. Odds were... low... But, we got one reply. An artist was looking for a crew for their upcoming show. We were booked.

We picked up a microphone at a pawn shop, slapped a lens on a friend's camera, borrowed a few batteries from the film department, ditched class and drove to Austin, Texas on a Thursday afternoon.

Three hours on the road, the artist CANCELLED on us. So, what did we do? We snuck into the venue and shot a video anyway. We sent it over to the artist. They were... impressed... very impressed. They threw the video up on their social media. They sent autographed posters, a copy of the album and a check for $100. We work with them to this day. Sometimes, it's hard to get a foot in the door. The door might even be closed. But here's what we learned: Do everything you can and everything can change.

SINCE THEN

With some luck, we each passed our classes and graduated. We collected a number of talented team members. We've created, shot and edited a wealth of material for dozens of clients in the DFW area. We've truly cut our teeth in corporate videography, small business, artistry. We changed everything.
